FINAL FOUR, CMFL Conference Title Games
The Coach C Cat Daddy Report – Final Four Edition
Written by Coach C – SemiPro GameDay
The Time Is Now.
The talking is over. The fluff? Cleared out. What we’re left with is the raw, unfiltered pressure of Final Four Football. A trip to the CMFL Title Game is on the line. The 2025 MVP race is reaching a fever pitch. Awards, legacies, and bragging rights are all hanging in the balance.
The pressure’s real—but pressure creates diamonds. So who shines brightest when the lights are hottest? Let’s break it all down in this week’s Cat Daddy Report!

Tulsa Gators at Oklahoma Bears

There’s a reason folks are calling this the “real CMFL Championship.” The two hottest teams in the league are set to clash in what feels more like a Super Bowl preview than a semifinal.
The Oklahoma Bears come in fresh off a smashmouth 24-12 win over St. Joe, where they trampled their way to over 300 rushing yards. That stat alone is stunning considering the Bears’ air raid identity behind Coach Griffith. This new ground-and-pound wrinkle just made an already deadly team even more dangerous.
But if there’s a defense built for this, it’s Tulsa’s. The Gators’ SWAT Team defense led by Franky Davis and Sir Henry Warner is stacked, aggressive, and fearless up front. They’ve got the horses to match the Bears’ brute force in the trenches—and that’s saying something.
Flip the script, and it’s just as intense. The Gators rolled into Joplin and walked out with a 21-20 comeback win, thanks in large part to the return of QB Samm Johnson and a spark from MVP candidate Dylan Chinn, who ripped off a huge play to start the comeback. And don’t sleep on Tulsa’s newfound run-game nastiness—they’ve become downright mean in the trenches.
Their last meeting? A nail-biter. Bears survived 24-22 thanks to Daniel Knighten’s 100-yard kick return and a clutch onside recovery by G-1000 kicker David Goodson. But this time? There’s a new wrinkle. The X-factor is RB Monta Thomas, who didn’t play in that first meeting. His speed and physicality could be the difference-maker.
This one starts as a war in the trenches but ends with the Bears flexing their full offensive arsenal.

St. Louis Falcons at Kansas City Panthers

Let’s set the scene:
Round 2 of this Missouri rivalry is here—and this one feels personal.
The St. Louis Falcons are flying high after finally taking down their longtime nemesis, the Missouri Cyclones, in a dominant 34-14 win. All eyes are on MVP candidate Malcom Johnson Jr., but make no mistake—the real problem for KC might be Mr. All-Purpose Deandre Jones. The man is The Human Joystick, and with QB Payton Hoker back under center, the Falcons look primed to air it out, grind it out and pour it on.
That KC secondary? Better be ready. Because Hoker, Jones and Johnson are about to turn it into straight BBQ Chicken—and they will be looking to add some Gates Sauce when they are done!
Now… let’s talk about the Panthers.
Yes, they’re still undefeated.
Yes, they’ve got an MVP frontrunner in Julious Sabastiano.
But… they’re not the same team without OL The One Man Gang Cor’Darius Wright, who is out for this one. His absence was felt in last week’s narrow escape vs. ECMO, and now that front has to deal with DE Darrin McDaniel, DL JaQuan McKeown, and All-Star LB Derrick Hampton. That’s a nightmare combo—and they’re hungry.
If that Panthers O-line doesn’t rise to the occasion? Sabastiano better be quick with the ball or it’s gonna be a long day in the pocket.
Momentum matters—and right now, one team looks like it’s on a mission. The other looks like it's holding on for dear life. Last week, the “Black Kats” looked more like the “Pink Panthers”—and if they don’t flip the switch fast, this won’t be close. The one thing that sticks out in my mind with the Panthers barely escaped the Eagles who was at full strength on the road. While the Falcons blew the doors off that same team a few weeks earlier. Falcons are peaking at the right time. And this one will not be close. It’s not Panthers in Four. It’s Falcons in Five! They about to FLOCK AROUND AND FIND OUT! I'm taking the Falcons!
Falcons 34 – Panthers 20
