The Race for Greatness Ends Here: CMFL MVP Voting Has Officially Begun

Written by Coach C | SemiPro GameDay

The season is complete.

The highlights have been captured.

The statistics have been recorded.

The unforgettable moments have been debated across the Central Midwest Football League.

Now comes the most important discussion of all.

Who was the best player in the CMFL during the 2026 season?

The journey to crowning the league's Most Valuable Player and honoring the very best of the 2026 season officially begins as the CMFL Awards voting process gets underway.

 Fourteen Voters. One Historic Decision.

This year's CMFL MVP and league awards will be decided by a carefully selected committee of 14 respected media members and head coaches from across the league.

These voters have watched every twist and turn of the season. They've witnessed championship performances, clutch moments, dominant defensive outings, and players who elevated not only themselves, but their entire organizations.

To ensure balance and league-wide representation, the committee is divided into three official voting blocs.

 Western Block
Representing the powerhouse programs of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Southwest Missouri.

 Central Block
Representing the Kansas City Metro and surrounding communities.

 Eastern Block
Representing the St. Louis Metro and surrounding areas.

Together, these three voting blocs ensure that every corner of the CMFL has a voice in selecting its highest individual honor.

 Six Players. One MVP.

The list of finalists is filled with players who defined the 2026 season.

QB Keante Green — St. Joe Bucks

DE Lerenzo Fagan Jr. — Tulsa Gators

LT Paris Williams — Oklahoma Bears

LB Shane Dorian — Kansas City Panthers

QB Justin Baker — St. Louis Falcons

QB Kendall Holmes — Tulsa Gators

Each finalist took a different path to this moment, but all arrived here through elite play, relentless consistency, and the ability to change football games when it mattered most.

Regardless of who ultimately wins, each of these athletes has already earned a place among the CMFL's elite.

 Every Vote Matters

The voting process is simple, but every point carries tremendous value.

Each voter will submit a ballot ranking their top three MVP candidates.

1st Place Vote – 3 Points
2nd Place Vote – 2 Points
3rd Place Vote – 1 Point

With such a talented field of finalists, every point could determine who walks away with the league's most prestigious individual award.

All ballots must be submitted by Friday night at 10:00 PM.

The Fans Are Part of the Story

The CMFL has always been powered by its passionate fan base, and once again, the fans will have a meaningful impact on the final outcome.

The SemiPro GameDay Fan Poll will count as one official ballot worth five points in the final MVP tally, giving supporters across the league an opportunity to help shape history.

So make your voice heard.

Support your candidate.

Celebrate an incredible season.

Because championships are won on the field—but legends are remembered through moments like these.

The debate is underway.

The ballots are in motion.

And soon, one extraordinary athlete will forever carry the title of 2026 Central Midwest Football League Most Valuable Player.
